Derby's Sing-Song Challenge

We Poiland Rodentia have composed our song to the tune of Lonely, I'm So Lonely:

Ah-hmmmm-hm
(clears throat)

Treatsies

We want our treatsies

We are so hungry

All of the time

For yoggies,

Cereal, pizza and fruitsies

Pasta, avocado and chicken

We do pine

Oh join us

We Little Beasties,

Riff, Rats In A Box and Oh Rats

As we rhyme

For Treatsies

Yummy sweetsies

Crunchy bonesies

All of the time

(warble in high soprano)

Oh-ooh-oh-fooooooood

From the Diary of Kao Ko Kung

Dear Diary,

Well it's the 24 of July in the year of our Bastet 6006. It has been gords awful hot here and there is no end in sight until the hurricane Daniel slides by towards the end of this weekend. Hopefully by then he will be downgraded to just a tropical depressant who may be encouraged to take medicine for his, um, problem. *cough*

In case you are wondering Dear Diary, I was put upon by a group of school girls the other day. They were all dressed somewhat funny and spoke with absolutly no accent, which may be hard to believe. After I figured out they were just posing for a photo op and not out to mug me as I cuddled with the couch pillow, we got along fine. The only downside was there incorrigable need to mimic......the rats.

Dearest Diary of mine if you have never tried to understand verminese, I suggest you don't try. There is simply no other language quite as frustrating on both the nerves and the ears with the exception of male mouse singing. And no I am not speceist, merely not tone deaf.

Some day oh honorable Diary friend, I have every intention of throwing a party to get arrested for like the Divine Goddess (sorry Bastet) Kukka-you are so fine-Maria. I only aspire to be as smart as her brother Brach that oh-so-witty incomparable feline reporter. And he is so precise. But at this time, I can only aspire to get arrested someday and be able to report about it LIVE.

Anyways, as I was unable to hurry along the meandering group of girls and their photo frenzied troop leader, I ended up with several shots of me posing as a prop. I rather fancy this one myself.

Until next time Dearest Diary,
Ko Ko

Pinky's Adventures in Poiland

Yeay, Pinky has arrived in Poiland and is given a lei by Shadow.

Shadow and Merlin welcome Pinky to their home.

Shadow gives Pinky a friendly Poiland kiss.

Merlin and Pinky discuss, um, something.....

Ko Ko begrudgingly accepts a new addition to the family
worrying that Pinky may take away from his cuddle time, silly Ko Ko.

"Here I meet an exotic brass cat." says Pinky.

"And this is the friendly if rough alley cat crew," introduces Pinky.

"This group included the uptown cats who club alot." explain Pinky.

Pinky smiles and says, "These little mousies were lots of fun."

"Here is He'e, that's Hawaiian for Octopus." giggles Pinky.

"Then I got to meet the ratties. Here is Ford Prefectrat and Arthur Dentrat."

"Arthur gave me a nice ratty hug."

"Georgie petted my ear so softely." purred Pinky.

"Rabbie Burns was kinda surprised to meet me, but he was okay......."

"...until he bit me." cried Pinky.

"Phippa Marlow Shakespearerat whispered 'It's okay' in my ear,
and gave me a kiss to make my bite better." smiles Pinky.
"And that is my introduction to the Poiland Tribe's home.

We in Poiland want to thank The Mostly Black Cats: Boni, Mini, Sanjee, Pepi, and Gree and thier Momma for sending Pinky to us. We love him!!!! Mom says she will post a link to your Momma's bead website soon.

My Adventure

Hello Everyfluffies and 'beans,

The other day Ford and Arthur told me about their adventures when they rented a car to travel around and see the sights. So I decided to do the same.

I went to Kinsey's Car Rentals and borrowed her pink VW. It is the perfect size for rattsies. I loved it. I traveled around the living room for awhile and saw some really big poodies and furniture. Everything was a sky scraper it rose into the air, towering above my little head. I was a bit nervous thinking the large furniture may topple on me, but Mom said I was okay.

After my adventure, the valet service at Kinsey's Car Rental nicely opened the door for me and escorted me back to my Mom.

So that is my adventure.

Bad Bunny Burns Report-11 July 2006

Dear Fellow Fluffy Bloggers,

Yes I am free, well not completely, but I am happy to say, no longer grounded. I have even been outside. Yes you heard me right, outside.

Mom said if I would wear my bunny torture device nicely, I could go exploring....outside. At first I didn't think this was a very good deal, but then I actually got outside and let me tell you. It is incredible.

I run and binky and nibble grass and sit and enjoy the cool evenings. It is to hot to take me out during the day, Mom says. So I get to go out in the evenings before the sun sets. Yes, I love it. As you can see in my picture, I'm actually being a good bun so I can go outside even more. The cats say I am crazy and it is dangerous out there, but Mom assured me that as long as I wear the bunny torture device then I am okay.

Here in the picture above I am a little bun by a big plant leaf. I am only 3.9 lbs after all so I am quite small, smaller than all the cats. heh.

Other than my new adventure outside the only other news is we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Pinky from the House of Mostly Black Cats. He has some sibs to adopt still if you are interested. We have a lei already for Pinky when he gets here. New people to Poiland always get a lei and a kiss. We will post picts as soon as he arrives and gets settled in.

I only chewed one book cover this week and slammed my timothy hay rack during the night a couple of time (it got taken away). So I've been a pretty good bun.

Mom's dressing me up again!

*sigh*

It's only because I love her that I put up with this.

Friday, July 07, 2006

This is Momma Phippa and one of her youngest daughters Morgan snuggling in their hammock. They are enjoying each others company. Phippa is very cute and has a notch out of her ear that she has had since we got her. Morgan has a white muzzle that tips up at the side of her mouth and makes her look like she has a Jokers smile.
