Horatio Phinneaus "Fig" Newton
Nov 2004 to Apr 2006
We have lost our Fig very unexpectedly last night. He was fine and acting normal. I fed him at 7:00 with his and Georgie's dinner and when I went back 3 hours later to get him to play out with Rabbie and me, he was laying on his back with his hands in the air. He was not acting sick, he had played normally earlier, and he passed with a calm expression on his face and his limbs with his body relaxed. The only strange thing was he was on his back. I don't know why he passed. It is so unexepected and a shock. I have cried since last night. I'm going to miss Fig so much and Georgie his little buddie is lost with out him. Georgie stood in front of Fig's body last night when we tried to remove him from the cage. Georgie then pushed Rob's hand away when he reached in to get Fig. We are all so upset and missing our big fluffy Fig. ~Poi Mom Jane

Oh not poor little Fig. He was a favorite of mine. I loved his pictures & adventures. He has the sweetest little rattie hands! You are in our thoughts & prayers. it is so hard to lose a little fellow and double hard when it is so unexpected...bless his little rattie heart and may he rest in peace.

My Bunny Parents and I are very sorry to hear about Fig. Maybe there are some other ratties in the sky who need a pal and fig was just the right rattie. We send hugs to the ratties left behind. -- Mrs. Sniffles
