Philippa & Will's new little batch of sweetness. All twelve are in this pile although I don't know if you can see all of them. They are not as chunky as the first batch, but I think that is because there are 12 instead of 9 this time. They are very snuggly and cute and so soft. When you pick the little bugggers up they burrow into your hand and try to nurse. They also wash their little faces even at this young age. It is adorable.  Posted by Picasa

Bad Bunny Burns Report - 26 April 2006

Dear Fellow Fluffy Bloggers,

Mom says this is what happens to bad bunnys. Dad is responsible for this. The only person I allow to do this is Kinsey kitten, and I actually fell asleep once in her arms like this. It is NOT good when Dad does it. Note the paw raised in protest.

Well it has been a bit since I blogged. I was grounded after the Easter business, which I still say is discrimination.

I have officially joined Riff's Minions and my minion name is Mr Gravey. Mom said my name is going to be mud once Dad sees the back of the couch.

Things destroyed this week:

1. Peed on Mom's bed spread
2. Still working on fan cord. Mom caught me in the act.
3. 2 patterns and one 3 ring binder.
4. Dumped timothy hay all over the living room.

...and the crowning glory...
5. Destroyed the back of the couch.

I am the Bun of Mass Destruction and don't anyone forget it. Ahahahahahahaha........

The Case of the Unconcious Mom Part 2-

While I sat on Poi Mom and checked her breathing, Ko Ko came in to help.

KK: What's going on bro?

M: Look, Poi Mom is on the floor.

KK: Uh oh...

M: Yes, she checked on the ratlets and fell on the floor. You go talk to Mrs. Shakespearerat and I will wake up Poi Mom.

Then I started tapping Poi Mom's face with my tail. Something that always gets her up in the morning.

KK: Mrs. Rat Mom what gives?

Rat Mom: Shhhh, you big hairy beast. You will wake the babies.

KK: The babies are awake. They are running all around you.

RM: Not the girls. The new little ones.

KK: Wha......huh....????

All of a sudden Ko Ko and I heard a loud squeeking rising from the covered nest area.

RM: Great now you've done it you big oaf. Listen all 12 of them are awake.

By this time, Poi Mom was awake and muttering something about birth control and rat sterilization and Mrs. Shakespeare Rat was complaining about some people not removing horny Mr. Shakespearerat soon enough since the last time she checked birth control was not available for busy rat moms.

Needless to say, Ko Ko and I beat a hasty retreat. Feeling confident that another case was solved.

The Case of the Unconcious Mom Part 1-

Not sure what's going on but....

Mom peeked in the ratlet cage and passed out....

will keep you informed as we find out what possibly could cause such a reaction...

hopefully, not vermin allergens or such attacking her central nervous system...

of course, if this is what is going on, could get rid of the vermin for good....

hmmmm......

Bad Bunny Burns Report - 11 Apr 06

Dear Fellow Fluffy Bloggers,

Well...

...may I ask exactly what is hassenpfeffer? Anyone?

Actually, I have been a pretty good bun lately by my standards. I have taken it easier on Mom's books lately. This week I only have one actual book to my credit, the spine that is and no book covers. I did, however, eat several patterns. They are VERY tasty.

I currently am refusing to use my nice portable potty box when I am out for doots. I do sit in it and enjoy the view though, so I don't see why Mom is complaining. It's not like it is not being used.

The other day Mom brought a beautiful boquet of ginger, bird of paradise, and palm leafs as salad. I'm not sure why she put them in that funny tall bowl, but I was still able to eat the palm leaves and Merlin enjoyed the flowers. It was wonderful roughage and a nice break from romaine.

There have been whispers about another VET visit for a removal, but since I am a super healthy bun, I don't believe it has anything to do with me. As far as I know, I have no extra parts either.

The noisy upstairs vermin are doing fine even though it has been even louder with the young ones opening their eyes and moving around A LOT now. I didn't know 9, inch-long pieces of fluff could sound like a herd of elephants, but they do. I have discussed it with Mrs. Vermin, but she was rather distracted and exhausted looking, so I don't know how much really got through. Mom said to stop complaining.

Horatio Phinneaus "Fig" Newton
Nov 2004 to Apr 2006
We have lost our Fig very unexpectedly last night. He was fine and acting normal. I fed him at 7:00 with his and Georgie's dinner and when I went back 3 hours later to get him to play out with Rabbie and me, he was laying on his back with his hands in the air. He was not acting sick, he had played normally earlier, and he passed with a calm expression on his face and his limbs with his body relaxed. The only strange thing was he was on his back. I don't know why he passed. It is so unexepected and a shock. I have cried since last night. I'm going to miss Fig so much and Georgie his little buddie is lost with out him. Georgie stood in front of Fig's body last night when we tried to remove him from the cage. Georgie then pushed Rob's hand away when he reached in to get Fig. We are all so upset and missing our big fluffy Fig. ~Poi Mom Jane
